Can't find the microscope Device on xploview (Windows/Mac)
Some customers feedback that after connecting the microscope to the PC and opening xploview, there is no way to find the microscope device in xploview. This is basically caused by the ① Insufficient power supply from USB port or ② broken USB cable.
①Unplug the USB cable from PC and re-plug to difference USB ports one by one till your PC detects it. If your PC connects multiple USB devices, you can unplug other USB devices temporariliy.
②Replace a new USB cable with data synchronization function.
USB cables are divided into ①charging model and ②charging/data sync 2-in-1 model. Just because a cable is rechargeable does not mean it has data synchronization. Before the microscope is shipped, we have tested the data synchronization function of each data cable. However, the data sync function may be damaged during subsequent transportation, charging and use.
If you can't find the microscope device on the xploview app, you can try to replace it with another USB cable. If there is no way to find a replacement cable, you can contact us for a replacement. Our email address is ninyoon@qq.com.
Except the USB cable problem, installing the wrong app in Mac is the common problem. The app for Mac is called "xploview", not "WiFi Check". Make sure you install it from our official site instead of App store. You can also close the xploivew and open the Photo Booth to confirm if the microscope is working.
